Last Sunday, Philippines' couture designers showcased their holiday couture collections during Metro Magazine's Metrowear Fantasy fashion show held at EDSA Shangri-la. For a couple of hours, I was in a world of whimsy and fantasy where I witnessed the spectacular creations of Joel Escober, Martin Bautista, Mak Tumang, and John Herrera, mentored by their senior designers Noel Crisostomo, Rajo Laurel, Frederick Peralta, and Cary Santiago, respectively.

I'm Not An Innocent Girl
Denim button-down: Essential Teens; 'I'm Not An Innocent Girl' tank: Zara; Gold & black leggings: Sent from Heaven; Combat boots: True Love |
You've probably seen this denim button-down a few times here on the blog, worn in different ways. Like I said before, I'll never get tired of wearing it so you lot expect that you'll be seeing it a couple more times here. Of course, I will be styling it differently. There are way too much ways on how to do so! Whoever said that it's not okay to wear your clothes more than once.. does not own clothes that are too damn nice!! Harhar. Agree? I mean why would you want your favourites to rot in your closet after wearing it once?!
Moving on, this time, I left the shirt unbuttoned and wore a statement tank underneath. That way, it adds a little character to my look. Instead of wearing plain black tights, I wore my gold and black leggings to spice it up even more. I finished the look with my combat boots, which I missed wearing.
Bag: Alexander Wang 'Hilary Leather Studded Shopper' |
To top it all off, I used my studded bag from Alexander Wang. I could not imagine me using a different one with this outfit. Thank goodness I have this bag in my life! It may not look like it but this one is the most overused among my bags. Maybe because it's too versatile. Plus it gives my outfits an edgy vibe!

Leopard
Top: Mi; Owl necklace: Rebel Gear |
Last Saturday, we went to Eastwood for my brother's birthday dinner and here's what I wore. I believe that by now, you already know that my go-to outfit is shorts. Maybe it's because of the hot weather here in the Philippines. See, it's already mid-November, yet it's still too hot. Oh how I wish we get to dress up for the cold months of fall and winter like other countries do! Anyway, back to the wonders of shorts. I love how comfy it could get when wearing one. I also love how versatile it is. I can dress it up or down, depending on my mood or where I'm going.
Booties: Aldo; Spiked bracelet: Girl Shoppe |
This time, I paired these high-waisted leopard shorts with a black top and booties. Instead of going with the usual black tank top underneath, I decided to go all sexy by just wearing my mauve bra underneath my top with huge armholes. I've always wanted to try that and since we were headed out on a Saturday night, I finally had the courage to do so! Yay!
Apologies from Mr. Owl! He was too shy to face the camera. Harhar. |
If you would notice from the first few photos, it's not only the front part of the shorts that's printed but also the back pockets. That's why I opted for a plain top and wore just a few accessories. I wanted all the attention on the shorts. They're too awesome not to be noticed, right?
High-waisted leopard shorts: Eye Candy Shorts |
I know you're already wondering where I got this pair of shorts. It's from a local online store called Eye Candy Shorts. They specialize on very affordable printed shorts like this. Their November collection is all about animal and floral prints and if I'm not mistaken, they're actually on sale right now! I suggest you go visit their Facebook page or their Instagram account and shop for your shorts before they run out!

It's the top that counts.
Top: Get it here; Cropped shorts: Armani Jeans; Sandals: My friend Tisha's; Necklace: Girl Shoppe |
Serendipity tattoo by Gene Testa |
I don't know why but there is something in this look that made me remember my friends. Maybe because this is something that I would probably wear when I am to spend a day with them to do nothing but talk and catch up over coffee. Very effortless and simple, perfect outfit for one lazy day. Don't you think?
Of course, this look wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for the top. I mean imagine if it's just a plain boring one instead of this printed one. I'm sure you loves are already aware that it's for sale. The online shop belongs to my friend Tisha. Go check it out!

Scarf
Scarf print dress: Get it here; Heel-less shoes: DAS |
If you're a regular here on my blog, I'm pretty sure you know about the photo shoot my friends and I had for an online shop. If this is your first time here, you can read about it here, here, here, and here.
This scarf print dress is one of my favorites among the stuff that I wore. Haha, I know! I like a lot from the first collection. How I wish I could buy them all. Anyway, don't you think it's beautiful? I do! The black, white, and yellow combination is just right; unlike other clothes with scarf prints, this dress isn't to loud. Also, the back of this dress is plain black. I think it's perfect for those who are not much into prints but want to give it a try.
I paired it with heel-less shoes to give the classy look an edgy and modern side. Imagine if I wore it with the classic black pumps. Sure, the look would have turned out completely differently, more elegant, but my mood during the shoot called for heel-less.
What do you think?

Pink Collar
Top: Sent from Heaven; Skinny jeans: Forever 21; Color block heels: Brash 'Jupiter' |
Let's do away with outfits that are for sale, shall we? For the past few days, I've been blogging about the clothes that we shot for my friend's online store. Now (at least for now), let me blog about something I really wore outside.
While planning for my Sunday ensemble, all I knew was that I wanted to wear this pair of color block heels. I've totally forgotten about them until our shoot and I wanted to bring it back to life!
As always, I can't wear anything too revealing because we hear mass so I wore skinny jeans. I suddenly realized I haven't worn jeans for what seemed like forever, I forgot how comfy it was! Anyway, since I wanted my shoes to stand out, I just wore a simple white top and finished the look with this pink peter pan collar necklace.
Peter pan collar necklace: K-Fab |
I've always wanted to buy a collar necklace but I just couldn't find something that I really like, something unique. Yes, collar necklaces are being sold everywhere but admit it, the designs are too limited. Thanks to K-Fab, my little problem was solved! I haven't seen collar necklaces similar to this! Have you?! I love how the design resembles lace -- made it look like it's really part of my top from afar.
Black beaded bracelet: DIY; Silver bracelet with purple hearts: From Italy; Love/Peace bracelet: From a bazaar; Silver bangle: Gift from my brother; Braided bracelet: From a bazaar |
Of course, I could not forget about the arm party! Haha. Lately, I never leave the house without wearing a stack of bracelets and most likely, this would go on for quite a while! Just a few days ago, I bought two new bracelets to add to my collection -- the Love/Peace and braided bracelets -- and I just had to wear them!

The Cute Dress
Dress: Buy it here; Color block heels: Brash 'Jupiter'; Aztec necklace: Girl Shoppe |
Here's another outfit I "modeled" for my friend's online shop. Cute, isn't it? I paired it with my pink and purple aztec necklace and color block heels so the lavender hue would pop out. Love how the entire look turned out! Do you, too? :)

Pink Blossoms
Floral top: Buy it here; Cropped shorts: Armani Jeans; Color block heels: Brash 'Jupiter' |
Modeled the same top in different colors! |
Recently, I've been blogging about the shoot my friends and I had for an upcoming online store. Just yesterday, Tisha opened the store already. If you wanna see the rest of her first collection, click here.
Now let me tell you about the top I'm wearing here. One of the current trends this season is prints and this floral top is just perfect! The print on this top is not your usual florals (if you know what I mean when I said usual!) and that's why I love it so much! Also, the pink on turquoise combination is to die for! It's just so nice to look at, don't you think?
I wanted to dress down the top a bit so I paired it with denim shorts. I also wore those lovely heels which I think are made for the top. They're meant for each other! I mean don't you just love how it matches the prints on the top? I think it made the prints stand out even more. The colors are so bright and happy! Um, someone please remind me again why I didn't buy this top. :/
Anyway, if you're the type of person who is afraid to wear bright colored clothes, don't fret. The top is also available in black. :)
What do you guys think?

Sneakers Kind of Day
Cropped top: DIY from an old Junk Food shirt; Denim cutoffs: Armani Jeans |
Yesterday, I went to my friend Tisha's place for a shoot for her upcoming online store. I, together with Weng and Ayie, modeled the clothes. Harhar. I know what you're thinking: A 5'2" model? Um, yeah. Nothing is impossible, you see! Heels were my best friend yesterday! It was so much fun -- modeling for the first time, goofing around with friends, laughing our hearts out, and catching up after not seeing each other for three months.
Anyway, before I get too emotional here, let's move on to my outfit. Since I know that I will be changing my clothes too many times, I decided to wear something really comfy, something that won't give me a difficult time to remove nor wear countless times.
Printed bandeau: Forever 21; DIY studs |
See that cropped top I'm wearing? I was the only one who cut those! My friends even had their shirts cut by my proud self. :D And remember the three pairs of shorts I mentioned here and here? Here's the third and my favourite pair!
Sneakers: Converse Chuck Taylor |
To complete my outfit, I donned on my really old pair of trusty Chucks. It's been years since I last wore these and yesterday, I just felt like wearing 'em. I thought that it looks good with my outfit too, instead of my overused booties that I'm sure you guys are tired of seeing me in.
Skull bracelet: Rebel Gear; Black beaded bracelets: DIY; Friendship bracelet: Girl Shoppe; 'mica' bangle: Had it made from a high school friend! |
Halfway through the shoot, I found time to goof around with the huge mirror that my friend Rowena and I loved so much! Haha. Tomorrow, I just might post behind the scenes photos and photos of my crazy friends!
My tired self after the shoot! |
Yesterday was too tiring but it was all worth it! I'll tell you more about it and Tisha's online store tomorrow!

Oxblood Obsession
Since I don't have outfit shots to post just yet, let me blog about the current fashion trends. The other day, I mentioned about one trend that's in this season (If you haven't read about it yet, click here.) and now, let me share to you another one: oxblood hues. It's the season's "It" color! Try entering stores and you'll see the color on clothes, shoes, bags, you name it! I myself would wear something in that color. Maybe a pair of jeans! There's just something about it that screams luxe. Don't you think?

Style Saint
A couple of weeks ago, I received an e-mail from Ami Gan of Style Saint saying that she came across my blog and would love it if I join Style Saint. Style Saint is a fashion community where fashion lovers around the globe can be editor-in-chief of their own StyleBooks.
When I finally found time, I checked out the site and found it interesting. Basically, it's a site where you can create your own digital fashion magazines that you could share to other Style Saints or via blogs, Tumblr, or Facebook. There are thousands of images hand-selected by the editorial team that you could tear and use for your own magazine or simply get inspiration from. To know more about Style Saint, click here.
Let me share to you my first StyleBook! To view my other StyleBooks, click here.
Also, I can proudly say that I am already part of the Style Saint Editorial Team. I applied after creating my first StyleBook and after they reviewed my first magazine, my application was approved. Now I can add tear sheets and tear photos from sites other than Style Saint!
Now I'm pretty sure that you noticed my new layout and the new pages in my blog. Originally, this blog was meant for my personal style and the looks that I have styled, but eventually, I posted about fashion events I attended and now, I'm adding FASHION TRENDS + INSPIRATIONS. I will now be posting about the latest fashion trends, using my StyleBooks, of course, hoping that my awesome readers will get inspiration from them.
Let me know if you have other suggestions! :)

Let the tiger roar.
Tiger shirt: Forever 21; Cropped shorts: Armani Exchange; Booties: Aldo; Tusk necklace: Oxygen |
This season, it seems like we'll be seeing lots of animal heads everywhere! Well, animal heads printed on tops, to be exact. It was seen on the fall/winter shows of brands like Burberry and Kenzo and not so long after, I've been seeing shirts/sweaters with animal heads everywhere. And I can see why it's such a hit! I mean why settle with just the animal print when you can proudly wear the entire head on your chest?
I've had this shirt for quite a long time now. It was actually my first purchase from the first Forever 21 store here in the Philippines! Since then, I've worn countless times already. I know what you're thinking: Why on earth have I not posted an outfit shot earlier? Answer is, I don't know either!

Anyway, since it was too hot this day, I opted to wear shorts. Um, alright, that 'it was too hot this day' was just an excuse! I just love wearing shorts. Harhar. Remember the three pairs of studded shorts I told you about here? Here's one of them. :) I finished my look with my favorite booties. Most of you are probably tired of these boots but I just can't stop wearing them!
Watch: TechnoMarine; Heart bangle: Gift from my brother; Black beaded bracelet: DIY; 'mica' bangle: Had it made from a high school friend! |
Skull bracelet: Rebel Gear; Black cuff: Can't remember -- too old!; Spike bracelet: Girl Shoppe |
For my accessories, I just kept it simple and went for the black and silver scheme.
Let me know what you think!
P.S. Have I mentioned that I will be having my first blog giveaway real soon? Watch out for it, dolls!

The Overused Booties
Top: Sent from Heaven; Leggings: Topshop; Booties: Aldo |
Necklace: Promod |
While planning my Sunday outfit, I thought of my Aldo booties and realized that I haven't worn it for quite a while now. Oh how I wanted to wear it again! If you're a regular here on my blog, you've probably noticed that I usually wear 'em with shorts, but since we're hearing mass, the only option left was tights. I found this never-been-worn top I bought months ago and thought it was perfect. Love how the studs are placed on the neckline -- instant neck piece! Also, see the two chains? It looks like it's part of my necklace but it's actually part of the top.
