Tartan

Fine, maybe I should stop saying that I'd post more often than I used to. Pft. So sorry, dolls! I'll try my best, though. :) Now, let's move on to my outfit. I wore this last week when my family and I went to Eastwood. My dad and my brother watched Die Hard while my mum and I, plus the baby, of course, hung out at Caffé Bene, a newly opened Korean coffee house. Loved the place! Anyway, this look is perfect for times like those. Feeling like a model-slash-Hollywood celebrity off duty again! Harhar.

I love the effortless and edgy but at the same time, stylish vibe the tartan print and combat boots combo achieved! You see, tartan, or plaid, just never goes out of style. I've actually had this top for years and I still get to wear it once in a while. What do you think of this look?  ;-)

What The Bag Does

The top I'm wearing here is one of those pieces I've had for a long time but never had the chance to share to you guys. Now that I do, I wore it with black leggings (worn as tights) and my Aldo booties. What I love about it's aztec print is that it's not your typical aztec. There's something different about it, though I can't tell what exactly. Maybe it's the swirls which look like S's! My studded leather bag made the entire look edgier. That's what it ever does to my outfits! That's why it's my all-time favorite bag! ;-)

Oversized Aztec

Last Thursday, I wore this outfit to work. I just love everything about this oversized shirt! It was perfect for the gloomy weather that day -- made me want to just stop working and do nothing with my friends-slash-workmates. Lazy daisy! Harhar. Anyway, since the shirt is already too loose, I paired it with something that would contrast it, leggings (worn as tights, of course!). I finished the look with my Aldo booties and Alexander Wang studded hobo bag.

Excuse the photo! See, I'm not prepared yet! Haha. At least you got a glimpse of my gold watch from Casio. :p

What do you think?

In A Hurry

Top: Love Hate; Shorts: Mudd; Combat boots: True Love; Bag: Alexander Wang 'Hilary Leather Studded Shopper'

Usually, I plan my outfit the night before to save time in the morning. Last Friday though, that was not the case. I did not know that we were leaving. My mum just woke me up, told me that we're doing some last minute shopping for my baby brother's Christening, and asked me to get dressed. I did what I was told in so much hurry because we were leaving in less than an hour. Obviously, I don't have enough time to prepare so after a quick shower, I put on a pair of shorts and the first decent top that I found. I wore my trusty pair of combat boots to dress the outfit up a bit. I think that did the trick! ;-)

Oxblood braided bracelet: From a bazaar; Love/Peace bracelet: From a bazaar; Gold bracelet: Old; Silver bangle: Gift from my brother; Black beaded bracelet: DIY

For my accessories, I put on my default stack of bracelets. These five are my favourites so I always wear them if I can and just add on a few more if I have to.

Spiked bracelet: Girl Shoppe

Again, since I didn't have time to choose more, I just added this spiked bracelet. I love how this studs and spikes combination emphasized my edgy look!

Aztec acrylic necklace: Personalized Accessories

To complete the look, I wore this aztec necklace. I chose to wear a simple white necklace to match the design of my top.

What do you think?

Take me back to California.

Top: Sent from Heaven; Cropped shorts: Zara; Combat boots: True Love

There is something about this look that makes me feel like I'm Kendall Jenner. The moment I put on my combat boots, I felt like I'll be walking around the small town of  Beverly Hills with the paparazzi following me. HAHA. Alright, I'll stop. Forgive the ambitious me! I just really miss the place and my cousins too much.

Let's move on to my outfit. I knew that we will be walking around the mall all day, shopping for stuff that we will me needing and getting things done for my baby brother's Christening so I wanted to wear something very comfortable. Solution to that? Shorts and a loose top so I can freely move around and combat boots for walking! I love how laid back the look turned out.

Aztec acrylic necklace: Personalized Accessories

I was also planning to buy a dress that day so I opted for less accessories for a fuss-free fitting. I mean don't you hate it when your accessories get all tangled up while you're in the dressing room? I do! It takes so much of my time! I just wore the aztec acrylic necklace I won from Laureen Uy's blog giveaway. Love how it matched my shorts!

Bag: Alexander Wang 'Hilary Leather Studded Shopper'

Look how I still managed to snap a mirror shot of myself before I started fitting! Can you guess which store I bought the dress I'm wearing to the Christening from? ;-)

I'm Not An Innocent Girl

Denim button-down: Essential Teens; 'I'm Not An Innocent Girl' tank: Zara; Gold & black leggings: Sent from Heaven; Combat boots: True Love

You've probably seen this denim button-down a few times here on the blog, worn in different ways. Like I said before, I'll never get tired of wearing it so you lot expect that you'll be seeing it a couple more times here. Of course, I will be styling it differently. There are way too much ways on how to do so! Whoever said that it's not okay to wear your clothes more than once.. does not own clothes that are too damn nice!! Harhar. Agree? I mean why would you want your favourites to rot in your closet after wearing it once?!

Moving on, this time, I left the shirt unbuttoned and wore a statement tank underneath. That way, it adds a little character to my look. Instead of wearing plain black tights, I wore my gold and black leggings to spice it up even more. I finished the look with my combat boots, which I missed wearing.

Bag: Alexander Wang 'Hilary Leather Studded Shopper'

To top it all off, I used my studded bag from Alexander Wang. I could not imagine me using a different one with this outfit. Thank goodness I have this bag in my life! It may not look like it but this one is the most overused among my bags. Maybe because it's too versatile. Plus it gives my outfits an edgy vibe!

Leopard

Top: Mi; Owl necklace: Rebel Gear

Last Saturday, we went to Eastwood for my brother's birthday dinner and here's what I wore. I believe that by now, you already know that my go-to outfit is shorts. Maybe it's because of the hot weather here in the Philippines. See, it's already mid-November, yet it's still too hot. Oh how I wish we get to dress up for the cold months of fall and winter like other countries do! Anyway, back to the wonders of shorts. I love how comfy it could get when wearing one. I also love how versatile it is. I can dress it up or down, depending on my mood or where I'm going.

Booties: Aldo; Spiked bracelet: Girl Shoppe

This time, I paired these high-waisted leopard shorts with a black top and booties. Instead of going with the usual black tank top underneath, I decided to go all sexy by just wearing my mauve bra underneath my top with huge armholes. I've always wanted to try that and since we were headed out on a Saturday night, I finally had the courage to do so! Yay!

Apologies from Mr. Owl! He was too shy to face the camera. Harhar.

If you would notice from the first few photos, it's not only the front part of the shorts that's printed but also the back pockets. That's why I opted for a plain top and wore just a few accessories. I wanted all the attention on the shorts. They're too awesome not to be noticed, right?

High-waisted leopard shorts: Eye Candy Shorts

I know you're already wondering where I got this pair of shorts. It's from a local online store called Eye Candy Shorts. They specialize on very affordable printed shorts like this. Their November collection is all about animal and floral prints and if I'm not mistaken, they're actually on sale right now! I suggest you go visit their Facebook page or their Instagram account and shop for your shorts before they run out!

P.S. Don't you sense a blog giveaway coming up?! Wait for it, loves! ;-)

Let the tiger roar.

Tiger shirt: Forever 21; Cropped shorts: Armani Exchange; Booties: Aldo; Tusk necklace: Oxygen

This season, it seems like we'll be seeing lots of animal heads everywhere! Well, animal heads printed on tops, to be exact. It was seen on the fall/winter shows of brands like Burberry and Kenzo and not so long after, I've been seeing shirts/sweaters with animal heads everywhere. And I can see why it's such a hit! I mean why settle with just the animal print when you can proudly wear the entire head on your chest?

I've had this shirt for quite a long time now. It was actually my first purchase from the first Forever 21 store here in the Philippines! Since then, I've worn countless times already. I know what you're thinking: Why on earth have I not posted an outfit shot earlier? Answer is, I don't know either!

DIY studs

Anyway, since it was too hot this day, I opted to wear shorts. Um, alright, that 'it was too hot this day' was just an excuse! I just love wearing shorts. Harhar. Remember the three pairs of studded shorts I told you about here? Here's one of them. :) I finished my look with my favorite booties. Most of you are probably tired of these boots but I just can't stop wearing them!

Watch: TechnoMarine; Heart bangle: Gift from my brother; Black beaded bracelet: DIY; 'mica' bangle: Had it made from a high school friend!

Skull bracelet: Rebel Gear; Black cuff: Can't remember -- too old!; Spike bracelet: Girl Shoppe

For my accessories, I just kept it simple and went for the black and silver scheme.

Let me know what you think!

P.S. Have I mentioned that I will be having my first blog giveaway real soon? Watch out for it, dolls!

The Overused Booties

Top: Sent from Heaven; Leggings: Topshop; Booties: Aldo

Necklace: Promod

While planning my Sunday outfit, I thought of my Aldo booties and realized that I haven't worn it for quite a while now. Oh how I wanted to wear it again! If you're a regular here on my blog, you've probably noticed that I usually wear 'em with shorts, but since we're hearing mass, the only option left was tights. I found this never-been-worn top I bought months ago and thought it was perfect. Love how the studs are placed on the neckline -- instant neck piece! Also, see the two chains? It looks like it's part of my necklace but it's actually part of the top.

Second Time Around

Denim top: Essential Teens; Leggings: Exped

Remember the first time I wore this denim top here? I mentioned on that post that it's not the only time that you're gonna see the it in this blog. Like I said, I love the top so much 'cause I can style it in too many ways. This time, the look isn't at all feminine 'cause I paired it with leggings (that looked like a tights, of course) and my new combat boots.

Combat boots: True Love

Yes, dolls! Another pair of boots! I told you, I'm addicted to them! And I'm still planning on buying another pair. ;-) Unlike my other pair I wore here, here, here, here, and here (See, I've worn it too many times already!), this is more of a boots, if you get what I mean. I guess I have a new favourite pair of shoes. Harhar. Now, folks, I'm ready for war!

Spike bracelet: Girl Shoppe; Lime green friendship bracelet: Girl Shoppe; Tri-colored beaded bracelet: DIY; Brown rosary bracelet: Graduation gift from SPUQC Nursing Department; Skull  bracelet: Rebel Gear; Black beaded bracelets: DIY; Watch: TechnoMarine

Also, I've mentioned before how I love wearing lots of bracelets at the same time. Since there's already an arm party going on here, I decided not to wear any more accessories and just have the attention drawn on these lovely bracelets.

So, tell me. Which outfit do you like better, this one or this one?

Polka

Top: Can't remember the brand but I got it from a bazaar!; Shorts: Almost Famous; Booties: Aldo

Skull bracelet: Rebel Gear; Lime green friendship bracelet: Girl Shoppe; Spike bracelet: Girl Shoppe
The others, I can't remember where I got 'cause they're really old! :p

I wore this outfit last week when my mum and I went to a not-so-high end mall just nearby our place to run some errands. She even said that what I'm wearing is too dressy for the place and that I should just save it for when we are to go to a 'nicer' place.

Truth is, it's not at all dressy. It just looks like it. Agree? I mean it's just a simple printed top and denim shorts paired together. What made the entire outfit look dressed up though are the shoes and accessories. As I've said on my previous post, this pair of shoes is my current favourite so I've been wearing it a lot recently. As for the accessories, I'm getting obsessed with bracelets, cuffs, and stuff like it and I just love to wear lots of them at the same time. Arm party! Haha.

So from this, I can truly quote Marilyn Monroe and say, Give a girl the right pair of shoes and she can conquer the world! ;-) What do you loves think?

Studs

Top: Rain Rain; Cropped shorts: Armani Exchange; Booties: Aldo
DIY studs
Arm party!

Remember the pyramid studs I mentioned here? Well, here's what I did to them! I've actually had three pairs of jeans which belonged to my mum in the 90's that I wanted to turn into shorts for ages but never got to do so just 'cause I was lazy. Just recently, I finally did it -- cut 'em and turned them into shorts. I also looked for pyramid studs 'cause  I know they'd be perfect for them and voila! Now I have three new pairs of high-waisted studded Armani shorts and I love all of 'em!

Here, I paired it with a really cute and unique cropped top and my favourite pair of shoes as of the moment. Also, to spice up the look a bit, I wore those bracelets, beaded cuffs, and things.

What do you guys think? :)
