The New Glorietta Vibe

Last week, November 29, 2012, I had the chance to be part of a fashion history! Ayala, together with AVA and Globe Tattoo, set the stage for the launch of the new Glorietta and an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people walking on a catwalk. With a final count of 2255 models, the Philippines broke the current world record of 1967 models held by Turkey.

Scarf

Scarf print dress: Get it here; Heel-less shoes: DAS

If you're a regular here on my blog, I'm pretty sure you know about the photo shoot my friends and I had for an online shop. If this is your first time here, you can read about it here, here, here, and here.

This scarf print dress is one of my favorites among the stuff that I wore. Haha, I know! I like a lot from the first collection. How I wish I could buy them all. Anyway, don't you think it's beautiful? I do! The black, white, and yellow combination is just right; unlike other clothes with scarf prints, this dress isn't to loud. Also, the back of this dress is plain black. I think it's perfect for those who are not much into prints but want to give it a try.

I paired it with heel-less shoes to give the classy look an edgy and modern side. Imagine if I wore it with the classic black pumps. Sure, the look would have turned out completely differently, more elegant, but my mood during the shoot called for heel-less.

What do you think?

Aztec with a Twist

Aztec print top: Forever 21; Leather shorts: Forever 21

About a month ago, I bought this really cute aztec print top and leather shorts from Forever 21. Since then, I've been wanting to wear it already but I never got to 'cause I haven't been leaving the house except on Sundays. Obviously, I can't wear 'em to Church! When I heard that my aunt's having a post-birthday dinner at Bonifacio High Street, I knew exactly what I was gonna wear. I love everything about this outfit! I think they're all made for each other!

I love how the top is really simple on the front..

..but when you look at it from the back, it's really sexy. It's not your typical backless as well! Then cut of the top is so unique and the placement of the huge bow is just perfect. Finally, another top which doesn't cover my tattoo when worn! That's actually the best part of it!

Heel-less shoes: DAS

I was supposed to wear a different pair of shoes but thought that I should wear the best pair of shoes I ever owned since I haven't worn them for some time now and I miss wearing them too much. Haha.

Red stone necklace: Quiapo; Spike bracelet: Girl Shoppe

My favourite part though, is the leather shorts. I wanted to have a pair of leather shorts for the longest time so imagine the joy when I finally bought one. More so, when I finally got to wear them! Surely, a lot more posts of me wearing this will be coming!

Safety pin bracelet: DIY; Black beaded bracelet: DIY; Heart bangle: Gift from my brother

For my accessories, since my top is already so awesome on its own, with the print and sexy back, and my shoes screaming for all the attention it could get, I kept it at a minimum. I just threw on the red stone necklace my friend Trisha bought for a photoshoot and the simplest bracelets I own.

7 Day Challenge x Metrowear Rocks

Top: Nuit; Skirt: Sewn with Love; Heel-less shoes: DAS; Purse: Prada; Necklace: Forever 21

Hey, dolls! Sorry, it took me too long before this next post. I've just been really busy for the past week with my newborn brother and all! Anyway, for the the third theme of the 7 Day Challenge, fashion show! One thing that learned from my instructor when choosing an outfit when attending one is that you should look elegant and fashionable at the same time. People should turn their heads toward you not because your look is screaming for attention.

I actually wore this outfit to Metrowear Rocks The Runway fashion show way back in May. I thought the heel-less shoes from DAS was perfect for the theme of the fashion show itself. Next to the simple yet elegant top (I love the cut on the sleeves!), this was my favourite part of the outfit. Since my shoes is already too damn deadly, I kept the rest of the outfit simple.

Elegant? Check! Fashionable? Check! What to you think?

Sunny

Top: Immagine (Yes, dolls! It's spelled with a double M.); Shorts: Summer Salt; Belt: Anne Klein; Heel-less shoes: DAS; Bag: Prada; Necklace: Girl Shoppe
Here's what I wore to my aunt's birthday party last week. Honestly, I did not know what kind of party it's going to be. All I knew was that it's catered and it's going to be held at a clubhouse of some village. I didn't even bother asking about the dress code! Crazy me, knowing that if one is going to attend an event, one of the things he/she must find out is what type of clothes should be worn.

Anyway, since my mum gave me this shorts a few days before the party, I was excited to wear it and I thought the party was the perfect time to do so. I paired it with a yellow top, which made the entire outfit bright. It also made me look so much whiter than I already am and I love it! (Here's a trivia: I used to hate the color yellow but since it has that effect, it's now one of the colours I love to wear!) To top it all off, I wore my favourite pair of shoes from DAS. The shoes made me look a little dressed up even if I'm just wearing shorts -- prefect, since I had no idea what the other guests will be wearing.

My outfit's casual but the shoes gave it some attitude! ;-) Oh, I love my trusty pair of heel-less shoes! It turned out, I'm not under-dressed after all!

Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas!

Dress: Sent from Heaven; Heel-less shoes: DAS; Clutch: Sorry, dolls! Can't remember where I bought it -- I've had it for what seemed like forever! ;-)

Here's what I wore to my friend Charmaine's Vegas-themed 18th birthday party two nights ago. I must say, it was by far the best that I've been to -- not your typical debut! The Follies de Mwah Multi-Awarded Show Girls performed and they were amazing! Felt like I really was in Vegas. With this bejeweled little black dress, paired with my favourite pair of killer heels (or should I say shoes, cause really, where's the heels?), you can never be over- or under-dressed!
