Metrowear Fantasy

Last Sunday, Philippines' couture designers showcased their holiday couture collections during Metro Magazine's Metrowear Fantasy fashion show held at EDSA Shangri-la. For a couple of hours, I was in a world of whimsy and fantasy where I witnessed the spectacular creations of Joel Escober, Martin Bautista, Mak Tumang, and John Herrera, mentored by their senior designers Noel Crisostomo, Rajo Laurel, Frederick Peralta, and Cary Santiago, respectively.

I'm Not An Innocent Girl

Denim button-down: Essential Teens; 'I'm Not An Innocent Girl' tank: Zara; Gold & black leggings: Sent from Heaven; Combat boots: True Love

You've probably seen this denim button-down a few times here on the blog, worn in different ways. Like I said before, I'll never get tired of wearing it so you lot expect that you'll be seeing it a couple more times here. Of course, I will be styling it differently. There are way too much ways on how to do so! Whoever said that it's not okay to wear your clothes more than once.. does not own clothes that are too damn nice!! Harhar. Agree? I mean why would you want your favourites to rot in your closet after wearing it once?!

Moving on, this time, I left the shirt unbuttoned and wore a statement tank underneath. That way, it adds a little character to my look. Instead of wearing plain black tights, I wore my gold and black leggings to spice it up even more. I finished the look with my combat boots, which I missed wearing.

Bag: Alexander Wang 'Hilary Leather Studded Shopper'

To top it all off, I used my studded bag from Alexander Wang. I could not imagine me using a different one with this outfit. Thank goodness I have this bag in my life! It may not look like it but this one is the most overused among my bags. Maybe because it's too versatile. Plus it gives my outfits an edgy vibe!

Leopard

Top: Mi; Owl necklace: Rebel Gear

Last Saturday, we went to Eastwood for my brother's birthday dinner and here's what I wore. I believe that by now, you already know that my go-to outfit is shorts. Maybe it's because of the hot weather here in the Philippines. See, it's already mid-November, yet it's still too hot. Oh how I wish we get to dress up for the cold months of fall and winter like other countries do! Anyway, back to the wonders of shorts. I love how comfy it could get when wearing one. I also love how versatile it is. I can dress it up or down, depending on my mood or where I'm going.

Booties: Aldo; Spiked bracelet: Girl Shoppe

This time, I paired these high-waisted leopard shorts with a black top and booties. Instead of going with the usual black tank top underneath, I decided to go all sexy by just wearing my mauve bra underneath my top with huge armholes. I've always wanted to try that and since we were headed out on a Saturday night, I finally had the courage to do so! Yay!

Apologies from Mr. Owl! He was too shy to face the camera. Harhar.

If you would notice from the first few photos, it's not only the front part of the shorts that's printed but also the back pockets. That's why I opted for a plain top and wore just a few accessories. I wanted all the attention on the shorts. They're too awesome not to be noticed, right?

High-waisted leopard shorts: Eye Candy Shorts

I know you're already wondering where I got this pair of shorts. It's from a local online store called Eye Candy Shorts. They specialize on very affordable printed shorts like this. Their November collection is all about animal and floral prints and if I'm not mistaken, they're actually on sale right now! I suggest you go visit their Facebook page or their Instagram account and shop for your shorts before they run out!

It's the top that counts.

Top: Get it here; Cropped shorts: Armani Jeans; Sandals: My friend Tisha's; Necklace: Girl Shoppe

Serendipity tattoo by Gene Testa

I don't know why but there is something in this look that made me remember my friends. Maybe because this is something that I would probably wear when I am to spend a day with them to do nothing but talk and catch up over coffee. Very effortless and simple, perfect outfit for one lazy day. Don't you think?

Of course, this look wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for the top. I mean imagine if it's just a plain boring one instead of this printed one. I'm sure you loves are already aware that it's for sale. The online shop belongs to my friend Tisha. Go check it out!

Scarf

Scarf print dress: Get it here; Heel-less shoes: DAS

If you're a regular here on my blog, I'm pretty sure you know about the photo shoot my friends and I had for an online shop. If this is your first time here, you can read about it here, here, here, and here.

This scarf print dress is one of my favorites among the stuff that I wore. Haha, I know! I like a lot from the first collection. How I wish I could buy them all. Anyway, don't you think it's beautiful? I do! The black, white, and yellow combination is just right; unlike other clothes with scarf prints, this dress isn't to loud. Also, the back of this dress is plain black. I think it's perfect for those who are not much into prints but want to give it a try.

I paired it with heel-less shoes to give the classy look an edgy and modern side. Imagine if I wore it with the classic black pumps. Sure, the look would have turned out completely differently, more elegant, but my mood during the shoot called for heel-less.

What do you think?
