Tartan

Fine, maybe I should stop saying that I'd post more often than I used to. Pft. So sorry, dolls! I'll try my best, though. :) Now, let's move on to my outfit. I wore this last week when my family and I went to Eastwood. My dad and my brother watched Die Hard while my mum and I, plus the baby, of course, hung out at Caffé Bene, a newly opened Korean coffee house. Loved the place! Anyway, this look is perfect for times like those. Feeling like a model-slash-Hollywood celebrity off duty again! Harhar.

I love the effortless and edgy but at the same time, stylish vibe the tartan print and combat boots combo achieved! You see, tartan, or plaid, just never goes out of style. I've actually had this top for years and I still get to wear it once in a while. What do you think of this look?  ;-)

No sneaks, just wedges!

Hey, loves! Before anything else, I'm so sorry to keep you guys waiting! It's been a week since I last posted something here and it's 'cause I've been too busy at work plus I got really sick last Friday. :( I'll do my best to post more often than I used to, though, so don't worry! ;-)

Now let's move on to my outfit earlier today! Last month, I received these Pill wedges I won from Kryz Uy's blog giveaway. When I first saw 'em, I immediately thought of two things to pair them with: skinny jeans and shorts. The latter's screaming for summer! Gah, can't wait!! This time though, I wore 'em with jeans since we'd go to Church. I chose a top which matches the color of the wedge.

Statement necklace: SM Accessories

Gold bangle: a'postrophe; Bag: Gucci

For my accessories, I stuck with the neutral palette and opted for gold ones. I finished off the look with my Gucci bag. What do you loves think? ;-)

Lavender

Don't you just love what necklaces like this can do to your outfits? Earlier this week, I wore something really simple to work -- just a plain top, skinny jeans, ballet flats, and my Longchamp. The necklace, however, dressed the outfit up a bit. I didn't need to accessorize more. It was already enough to make a statement. I just put on my gold Casio watch which matched the gold chains of the lovely necklace to finish my look and voila!

What  do you think, loves? ;-) Did you love the necklace?! Go check out Skön PH's Facebook page or Instagram account (@skonph) and you just might find the perfect handmade accessories for you! Also, did I mention that their accessories are too affordable?! :)

Animalia

Now that the holidays are over, it's time to get back to more important things a.k.a work! Ugh. Why can't the holidays last a little longer?! Haha. Don't get me wrong, though! I'm really thankful that I have a job right now. ;-) This outfit is actually what I wore to work the other day. I chose to wear this top and paired it with skinny jeans. I wanted to enhance it's print so I went for shoes, a bag, and accessories in the shade of gold/brown. Imagine wearing this outfit with black flats and a different bag. The look would have had a different turn out.

Gothic

About three weeks ago, we had our womenswear shoot. This was also the first shoot wherein we got to actually style a full outfit. Exciting, right?! The peg for this shoot is gothic. I'm pretty sure that when you read 'gothic', the first thing that entered your mind was 'black'. Well, I'm right, aren't I?

For the hair, we went with the messy updo. For the make-up, smokey eyes is the key, of course!

I added a touch of gold to the look by using a gold square bangle and a black & gold dangling earrings. I didn't accessorize much, though, because I wanted to draw attention to every detail of the outfit itself. I love each and every piece of garment here. I mean what's not to love? You have lace, faux leather, and extraordinary tights!

What do you guys think?

7 Day Challenge x Jumpin' in Leather

Mustard-yellow sheer button-down top: I.Candy (The Ramp); Cropped denim shorts: Topshop; Studded leather boots: Sent from Heaven; Bag: Mango; Braided belt: Forever 21; Necklace: Forever 21

The sixth theme for the 7 Day Challenge is concert/art exhibit. To be honest, I spent hours looking for an outfit for this theme. It's just so difficult 'cause I'm not really fond of watching concerts. I can barely remember the last concert that I've been to! Haha. I believe it really just depends on the artist and one's mood when planning an outfit for such occasion. Anyway, after hours of searching my closet, I finally came up with something. What do you think?

Stripes 'n' Tights

Top: Zara; Mini skirt: Zara; Tights: SM Accessories; Oxfords: So Fab; Bag: Mango

Since I haven't worn tights for what seemed like forever, and I actually miss the comfy but sexy feeling it gives, I decided to make it a part of my outfit yesterday. I paired it with a black & white striped top and cream & black Oxfords. Of course, I did not forget to put on my trusty mini (so 'mini' that I cannot wear it alone!) skirt to serve as a cover up since tights are too thin to be worn alone (like my mini skirt). I mean I wouldn't want people staring at my butt while walking in a mall, right?! Haha.

With that, I'll leave you with this tip: never in your life pair leggings or tights with tops so short that it doesn't cover your behind. ;-)

Fashion Section

Detailed top: Dorothy Perkins; Skinny jeans: Zara; Red pumps: Brash 'Komet'; Bag: Mango

Whenever I enter Fully Booked, or any book store for that matter, I almost always see to it that I go to my favourite section, Fashion. Although I prefer buying novels than this kind of books, I love browsing through them. Yesterday, my Mum snapped a photo of me while I was finding my way to the Fashion Section.

When I finally got there, I found myself looking for this book. Again. I saw it a few months back and since then, I've always wanted to buy it. Feel like I'd learn a lot from it! Now that I'm certain that I'm going to take up Fashion Styling at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines, I might get the book real soon!

A Pop of Colour

Top: Mi; Skinny jeans: Topshop; Purple & pink heels: Brash 'Jupiter'; Bag: Mango

I've been wanting to wear my new pair of heels for a week now, but since we started the day late yesterday, I already know that after hearing mass, we won't be going anywhere that would require me to dress up really, really nicely. It still didn't stop me from wearing it, though. To dress down the heels a little bit, I opted for something simple and just grabbed one of my favourite pair of skinny jeans and a plain black top! Voila! ;-)
