Merry Christmas!

Lace dress: Forever 21; Necklace: SM Accessories; Patent peep-toe pumps: Pedro

It's the most wonderful time of the year!! Christmas is finally here! Happy holidays, loves! I know that like me, most of you are busy spending time with your loved ones so I'm gonna make this short and quick. Instead of wearing a sprkly Christmas-y dress, I opted to wear this bodycon lace turquoise dress on Christmas Eve. I love how the texture added character to the look while the color made it lively, giving off a happy vibe. Just what we need on Christmas, right? I kept my accessories and shoes simple and just wore a statement necklace and nude pumps.  The dress deserves the spotlight after all!

What do you think? What about you? Tell me about your Christmas Eve outfit! Merry Christmas, loves!!

Gothic

About three weeks ago, we had our womenswear shoot. This was also the first shoot wherein we got to actually style a full outfit. Exciting, right?! The peg for this shoot is gothic. I'm pretty sure that when you read 'gothic', the first thing that entered your mind was 'black'. Well, I'm right, aren't I?

For the hair, we went with the messy updo. For the make-up, smokey eyes is the key, of course!

I added a touch of gold to the look by using a gold square bangle and a black & gold dangling earrings. I didn't accessorize much, though, because I wanted to draw attention to every detail of the outfit itself. I love each and every piece of garment here. I mean what's not to love? You have lace, faux leather, and extraordinary tights!

What do you guys think?

Shade of Grey

Suede-ish (Excuse the word but I don't know what the fabric's called! :p) top: Sent from Heaven; Lace skirt: Sent from Heaven; Ballet flats: Zara; Tusk necklace: Oxygen

Here's what I wore to class last Friday. I just opted for something simple but even so, I still love everything about the look. There's something about it that makes me feel so girly even though not a single piece I'm wearing has a girly color. I suppose it's the lace skirt. I've been into lace skirts lately. Remember the blue one I used here? I also love this grey tank top because of it's fabric. I'm pretty sure it's not suede but it resembles it. With these two pieces, the color palette for that day didn't seem to matter -- I was still able to make a statement!

Print and Texture

Top: Massimo Dutti; Skirt: Sent from Heaven

Necklace: from Greenhills

Bag: Dorothy Perkins; Ring: Accessorize; Bangle: Gift

Shoes: Zara

I've had this lace skirt for two months now but I never got to wear it until last Sunday. That's because I could not find the perfect top that would go with it! I've tried on countless number of tops and failed.

Out of nowhere though, I found this paisley-print button-down top. I know, where has it been the past two months, right?! It was perfect for the lace skirt so yay!

I love how the monochromatic look turned out, and with the texture and print paired with each other, it even became edgier.
