Blue Roses

Excuse the cup of coffee! Mum asked me to hold it for her so she could take better photos of me. Harhar.

Finally, I got to wear this floral top! A friend gave it to me months ago but I never got to wear it since. Cute, right? I love how it's short and cut asymmetrically on the front, showing some of my skin -- kind of sexy but not too daring. I paired it with denim shorts. There's just no better way to wear it than with shorts! Agree?

7 Day Challenge x Jungle Red

Dress: Positive Signal (vintage); Suede pumps: Brash 'Komet'; Purse: CMG

The second theme for our 7 Day Challenge homework is 'date'. When choosing an outfit, I wanted something that would make me look really stunning without looking like I tried too hard. I thought this dress was perfect. It's very simple but if you look closely, the upper part is made of lace. That's what I love about it. But of course, the look wouldn't be complete without the matching red pumps and purse. I'm actually not fond of matching the color of my shoes to the color of my purse but to dress the look up a little bit, I went for it. What do you think?

Let's fly away.

Top: Zara; Cropped shorts: Hippie; Belt: Forever 21; Oxfords: SO! Fab; Bag: Vintage

Knowing that the day will be spent visiting my grandfather at the cemetery for his birthday and running some errands with the family, wearing heels was out of the question. Instead, I decided to wear something really comfy. Not only did my Oxfords give comfort; it also added an edge to my look. It's my favourite part of this outfit, really.

The shorts was actually an old pair of jeans that was turned into one by my mum. I paired it with a cute little top which I really like because of how its sides were made. I have the option to tie it into a ribbon or just leave it hanging, untied, maybe for a 'lazy' look. In this case, I chose to tie it so that my belt will be seen.

After this look, who would say that one cannot look stylish and be comfortable at the same time?
